How it works

Pick a sound (Balanced, Pop, Hip-hop, Electronic, Rock, Acoustic or Lo-fi) or match a reference track, then choose Gentle, Standard or Loud.
- Analysis, tone and glue
Your mix is analysed, gets a tonal balance EQ toward the chosen style, then light bus compression to glue it together.
- Through the analog chain
The track plays out through our outboard gear (Millennia, Manley, API, Hendy Amps, Neve and Custom Audio Germany) and is recorded back through a Lynx Hilo converter.
- Stereo and loudness
The low end is focused, left and right are balanced, and the loudness is set with a true-peak limiter so it plays cleanly everywhere.
- Listen and download
Compare the master against your mix at matched loudness, then download a 24-bit or 16-bit WAV.
Frequently asked questions
What file should I upload?
A WAV, AIFF, FLAC or MP3 of your finished mix, at its original sample rate. Leave some headroom (peaks around -6 dB) and take any limiter off the master bus, so the analog chain has room to work. For big files, FLAC keeps full quality at a smaller size.
What do I get?
A release-ready master as a 24-bit or 16-bit (CD) WAV file, with true peaks at or below -0.3 dBTP for clean playback on streaming services. The results also show the loudness, dynamics, stereo width and EQ changes.
Does my track actually pass through analog gear?
Yes. Every master is processed through our physical analog outboard chain. You can follow the signal path at the top of the page and see the gear your track is passing through in real time.
Can the analog chain process more than one track at a time?
No. The analog chain processes one track at a time, so every track gets the gear’s full attention. If other tracks are ahead of yours, yours waits in a first-come, first-served queue, and the page shows your place in line until your turn begins.
Which style should I choose?
Pick the one closest to your genre; Balanced suits most songs. To match a specific sound, choose “Match a reference” and upload a finished song you like.
How loud are the Gentle, Standard and Loud settings?
Gentle aims for about -12 LUFS and keeps the most dynamics, which suits acoustic, jazz and classical music. Standard aims for about -10 LUFS, a competitive level for most genres. Loud aims for about -9.4 LUFS for dense, high-energy styles like EDM and hip-hop. All three keep true peaks at or below -0.3 dBTP, and if a track can’t reach its target without being squashed, the system stops short to protect the sound.
Are my files kept private?
Yes. Your mix and master are kept private. Working files are automatically deleted from the mastering server, while finished masters are retained for one week and then permanently deleted.
