Every track is processed through our high-end outboard analog chain at 96 kHz. A 3-minute song spends about 1½ minutes in the gear, plus the digital stages and any tracks ahead of yours.
Your mix and master are kept private. Working files are automatically deleted from the mastering server, while finished masters are retained for one week and then permanently deleted.
How it works
- Upload your mix and choose a style
Pick a sound (Balanced, Pop, Hip-hop, Electronic, Rock, Acoustic or Lo-fi) or match a reference track, then choose Gentle, Standard or Loud.
- Analysis, tone and glue
Your mix is analysed, gets a tonal balance EQ toward the chosen style, then light bus compression to glue it together.
- Through the analog chain
The track plays out through our outboard gear (Millennia, Manley, API, Hendy Amps, Neve and Custom Audio Germany) and is recorded back through a Lynx Hilo converter.
- Stereo and loudness
The low end is focused, left and right are balanced, and the loudness is set with a true-peak limiter so it plays cleanly everywhere.
- Listen and download
Compare the master against your mix at its real loudness (or matched to your mix), then download a 24-bit or 16-bit WAV.

Frequently asked questions
What file should I upload?
A WAV, AIFF, FLAC, M4A or MP3 of your finished, unmastered mix, at its original sample rate. For the best results, leave peaks around -6 dB, with no limiter or heavy master-bus compression applied before export.
Can I upload a track that has already been mastered?
You can, but we don’t recommend it. A mastered track has already been limited and compressed, so there’s little headroom or dynamic range left for the analog chain to work with, and mastering it again can make it sound flat or over-compressed.
Which style should I choose?
Choose the style that best matches your genre. If you’re not sure, choose Balanced. It’s designed to work well across a wide range of songs.
How loud are the Gentle, Standard and Loud settings?
Gentle aims for about -12 LUFS and keeps the most dynamics, which suits acoustic, jazz and classical music. Standard aims for about -10 LUFS, a competitive level for most genres. Loud aims for about -9.4 LUFS for dense, high-energy styles like EDM and hip-hop. All three keep true peaks at or below -0.3 dBTP, and if a track can’t reach its target without being squashed, the system stops short to protect the sound.
Can I try online mastering for free?
Yes. You can hear your track mastered online for free and compare the result with your original, no credit card or sign-in required. Listen to a preview of the loudest section of your master before deciding whether to purchase the final master.
What do I get?
A release-ready master as a 24-bit or 16-bit (CD) WAV file, with true peaks at or below -0.3 dBTP for clean playback on streaming services. The results also show the loudness, dynamics, stereo width and EQ changes.
How much does mastering cost?
$9 per track. Preview your master for free, then pay only to download it. One payment unlocks both 24-bit and 16-bit WAVs, available to download for 3 days. The price is always shown before you pay.
Do I need a PayPal account to pay?
No. You can pay securely through PayPal’s checkout without creating a PayPal account. When the payment window opens, continue to the next step and choose the option to pay with a major credit or debit card.
Can I release the master on Spotify, Apple Music or through my distributor?
Yes. Your master is a standard WAV with true peaks at or below -0.3 dBTP, ready to upload to any distributor, such as DistroKid, TuneCore or CD Baby, which delivers it to Spotify, Apple Music and the other platforms. Use the 24-bit WAV unless your distributor asks for 16-bit.
Does my track actually pass through analog gear?
Yes. This is real analog processing, not a plugin emulation. Your mix is processed through our high-end physical analog chain at 96 kHz. You can watch its progress through the signal path at the top of the page and see exactly which gear your track is passing through.
What does analog processing add to my track?
Analog processing can add depth, warmth, punch, and dimension to your mix. The subtle harmonic color and saturation of real hardware can help your master feel more cohesive, open, and musical, without changing the character of your track.
Can the analog chain process more than one track at a time?
No. The analog chain processes one track at a time, so every track gets the gear’s full attention. If other tracks are ahead of yours, yours waits in a first-come, first-served queue, and the page shows your place in line until your turn begins.
Is this AI mastering?
Not in the typical software-only sense. Our system uses automated analysis to determine the EQ and level settings for your chosen style, while the actual sound is shaped through real analog outboard gear, including Manley, API, and Neve, running at 96 kHz. The final stage then sets the overall loudness.
Do I need to keep the page open while my track is mastering?
Yes. Keep this page open until your master is ready. Closing the tab or leaving the page cancels the job, so the analog chain can move on to the next track in line. On a phone, keep the browser open on this page rather than switching to another app.
Are my files kept private?
